I have a jewelry business in the world famous Diamond District in New York City and my customers often refer to me as their "friend in the jewelry business." Cohen Bros. Jewelry is a family-owned business, dating back to 1964. It was started by my father Charles J. Cohen and uncle Edward T. Cohen (the original owners), and I took over the business in 1990.
I'm all about the relationship. My customers span the world and come back to me over and over. I feel privileged to be entrusted with such a personal item like jewelry for any occasion. And I take pride in helping my customers find the right piece of jewelry within the budget (and within their dreams).
Every customer is important!
I know them all, and in many cases I also know their parents and children too. I make sure that when leave my premises they feel they came away with exactly what they were hoping for...if not more. And that they had a relaxed, enjoyable experience. And if you happen to come by at lunchtime you can count on me for some of the best local Chinese food.
